Acute and Short-Term Crisis Intervention

Provides short-stay crisis intervention and treatment for adults experiencing a mental health crisis but who do not need hospitalization. Clients are cared for in a safe, supportive community-based facility where they can learn new skills to better manage their illness once they are discharged back into the community.

Application Process
Referrals are coordinated through the emergency department at Lions Gate Hospital or with the community psychiatric program at HOpe Centre.,Referral accepted by Mental Health Team case managers and hospital clinical nurse or manager leaders.

Age Restricted

Adults aged 19 and over with psychiatric diagnosis and in crisis.
