Patient and Family Counselling
Provides in-hospital support and counselling to patients who are having difficulties with managing or coping with the impact of illness. Social workers assist patients and their families with building support networks, coping with stress, and strengthening or restoring their ability to self-manage. Services may also include referrals to community resources.
