Short-Term Assessment, Response and Treatment

Provides mental health crisis intervention for children and youth in mental, emotional, or physical crisis. Services include mental health and risk assessment, safety planning, short-term individual and or group therapy, family support, information, and referrals.

Mental health crisis may include self-harming, suicidal thought or attempts, intense anxiety or depression, distorted thinking, or high risk of harming others.

Eligibility
Geographically Restricted

Children and youth aged 6 - 18 years, living in the Fraser Health region; with rapid extreme mental health symptoms resulting in the child or teen being unable to participate in their typical daily activities or relationships.
