Archway Community Services

Provides youth with general health services in a youth-friendly, safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment. The centre helps youth connect with the support and help available in the community, recognize high-risk behaviours, and empower them to be active participants in their health care.

Services include general health care, STI testing and treatment, birth control, counselling, mental health and substance use support, peer support, and access to social services.

Offers outpatient alcohol and drug counselling to youth and adults with concerns about their own substance misuse, or the effect of someone else's use. Services include men and women recovery groups, referrals to other services, group support, and individual, couple, and family counselling.

Provides individual support, resources, and training opportunities to foster families and extended family caregivers to help maintain foster placements. The program helps caregivers manage a wide range of challenges and behaviours related to trauma, attachment and transitions. Support is offered in the home or office, as well as by phone, text and email.

Offers drop-in programs where families with young children can enjoy child-led activities with other families and caregivers. Provides a safe and supportive environment where families can learn life skills, support one another, and participate in cultural and learning activities.

Provides justice-related information and referrals, emotional support and practical assistance to victims or witness of crime, criminal harassment, trauma, and or physical or sexual assault.

Services include accompaniment to police and court appearances, and referrals to community and medical services. Violence and trauma counselling is also available for individuals with Crime Victim Assistance Program funding.

Offers one-on-one support and group education for immigrant men who have used violence in relationships and need to learn how to prevent violence in the home. The program helps men learn ways to deal with conflict, identify personal triggers, and develop stress management skills.

Offers intervention and counselling for families with children in foster care identified as needing extra supports due to family conflict or difficult parent-child relationships. Services include outreach, conflict resolution, anger management, and communication skill building. Program is offered through in-home and in-community visits.

Offers a variety of support groups and parenting programs to support and promote change, personal growth and enhance healthy families.

Offers programs, activities and support for dads in Abbotsford wishing to be more involved with their children. Services include parenting programs, individual support, drop-in chat group, anger awareness course, and father-child play groups.

Offers outreach services to youth and adults who are homeless or are at risk of being homeless. Services include short-term rental supplements and help with accessing income assistance, housing, health services, and community-based services.
