Community Brain Injury Program for Children and Youth
BC Centre for Ability Foundation
Provides community-based services to children and youth in BC who have experienced an acquired brain injury within the last year, and have rehabilitation needs. Services are offered in the home community and include individual customized rehabilitation service plans, acute therapy, access to services and resources, brain injury information and resources, and transition planning.
Early Intervention Therapy Program
BC Centre for Ability Foundation
Offers services to children with developmental concerns or disabilities, and their families. Social workers work with speech-language pathologists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to support families through psychosocial and emotional aspects of caring for a child with special needs.
Service may include individual consultation in person or by telephone, education through groups and workshops, counselling, and help with transitioning from daycare to preschool or kindergarten.

FASD and Key Worker Support Services
BC Centre for Ability Foundation
Offers support to families with children and youth with complex developmental and behavioral conditions (CDBC) including Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Key Workers develop a service plan to support the needs of children and their families.
Support includes training and education for parents or caregivers, consultations, skill-building groups for children or youth, networking opportunities, development and connection groups for youth, and evening activities for families.

Offers information and support to children with a developmental delay or disability, and their families, who need additional support with participating in child care programs.
Support may include developmental screening and assessments, individual planning, support and consultation with families and child care programs, extra staffing support if needed in child care programs, and help finding child care programs and subsidies.
