Collingwood Neighbourhood House
Promotes the health and well-being of infants and children by providing parents, grandparents, and caregivers with support, information and referral services, and by increasing knowledge and parenting skills.

The program is designed to help families address the health, behaviour and developmental needs of children through education, early intervention and prevention.

Provides parents of young children a safe place to meet other parents who have children the same age, and a chance to share questions, concerns and ideas about parenting.

The program helps parents discover positive ways of parenting, strengthen their skills, and learn about positive child development and behaviour.

Collingwood Neighbourhood House

Provides community-based primary health care for Renfrew-Collingwood community members who are not connected to a family doctor and have problems accessing health care.

Services include general health exams, harm reduction supplies, immunizations, wound care, sexual health services, referrals to diagnostic testing, and mental health services.

Offers primary care (family doctor or nurse practitioner).

Collingwood Neighbourhood House

Provides pharmacy services for individuals to obtain, understand, and manage their prescriptions. Offers a range of prescriptions and over-the-counter medication; open to everyone - you do not need to be a RISE patient.

Also provides naloxone kits to people who use opioids or are likely to witness an overdose. Pharmacists provide kits free-of-charge to people who are eligible, as well as training in overdose recognition and response.

Offers information and personalized support to help connect older adults in the community to non-clinical, community-based services that reduce isolation, promote independence, and help to improve overall health and wellness.

Community connectors help seniors with accessing services such as social and physical activities, food programs, caregiver supports, cultural programs, legal and housing services, transportation, and mental health services.

Offers a variety of programs and services to help seniors enrich their lives, keep active and stay healthy. Programs include recreational activities, social events, art classes, and therapeutic exercise. Light housekeeping and in-home friendly visiting is also available.

Collingwood Neighbourhood House
Provides transportation for grocery shopping, errands and medical appointments for older adults who are not able to travel independently. The shuttle driver can help carry groceries to the door of the house as well as help seniors walk out of the vehicle to a medical appointment.
