Bereavement Support Services

Fraser Canyon Hospice Society
Offers support to family and friends providing care, or grieving for those with a life-limiting or terminal illness. Offers adult and children bereavement and family caregiver support groups, one-on-one support, a walking group, and camp for bereaved children.

Palliative Services and Support

Fraser Canyon Hospice Society
Provides practical and emotional support to individuals and their loved ones through the stages of dying, death and bereavement. Trained volunteers visit in the home, hospital or care facility, offering companionship, respite, vigil services, and comfort supplies and equipment.

Patient Care Rooms

Fraser Canyon Hospice Society
Offers two patient care rooms in Fraser Canyon Hospital to support families of palliative care patients. Family members are able to stay with their loved one in a homelike setting when home is no longer an option for the individual. A kitchenette, library, television and additional fold-out beds are available.
