Aboriginal Diabetes Initiative
Lheidli T'enneh Band
Provides community-based and culturally appropriate diabetes education, screening and treatment to help improve the health and well-being of Aboriginal people with diabetes, and to children, youth, families and communities.

Offers health education and promotion services to support the well-being of the Lheidli T'enneh community. Areas of support include infant and children health, injury prevention, school health, adult health and wellness, Elder health, drinking water safety, and chronic disease prevention.

Provides counselling, education, and support with a focus on preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS.

Mental Health and Substance Use Services
Lheidli T'enneh Band
Provides assessment, treatment and referrals for youth and adults with mental health issues such as suicide and depression, and substance use issues including solvent, alcohol, and drug use. Services include short-term counselling, medication management, youth counselling, and referral to treatment and rehabilitation programs.

Patient Travel Benefits
Lheidli T'enneh Band
Administers and coordinates medical travel to eligible First Nations clients on behalf of the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) Health Benefits Program. The program provides funding for transportation to the closest appropriate medical professional and or facility for medical or health related services that are eligible through the BC Medical Service Plan or covered by FNHA.
