Southside Health and Wellness Centre Society

Provides in-home nursing care and palliative home visits to members of the community who are unable to visit the health centre.

Offers mental health and addiction services to members of the community in need. Services include individual, couple and family counselling, treatment centre referrals, education and information, stop smoking counselling, conflict resolution, mediation services, and crisis assistance.

Provides a range of community health and acute care services to promote healthy lifestyle choices and for the well-being of community members. Services include immunizations, diabetic education, post-hospital care, prenatal education and well-baby visits, blood pressure screening, and food care.

Offers a variety of general health services to residents and visitors to the Southside Francois Lake area. Nurse practitioners are available to serve as primary health care providers, along with the services of visiting physicians and specialists.

Services include general health assessments, harm reduction education and supplies, prenatal care, prescription management, HIV and Hepatitis C screening, well-woman programs, and referrals to diagnostic testing and specialists as needed.

Offers community health services from visiting physicians, specialists and other health professionals. Services include mobile mammogram visits, diabetic telemedicine outreach, pharmacist visits, adult hearing tests, arthritis clinic, and dental varnishing for children under age five.
