Adolescent Psychiatric Assessment Unit at University Hospital of Northern British Columbia

Provides crisis stabilization, psychiatric assessment and short-term treatment for youth experiencing psychiatric symptoms such as psychosis, disorder of mood, suicidal behaviour, or anxiety. Care is provided by a team of health professionals including psychiatrist, psychologist, youth counsellors, family liaisons, and nurses.
