Antepartum Care Unit at BC Women's Hospital and Health Centre

Provides in-hospital or at-home care for women experiencing complications in their pregnancy. Women may be admitted into the hospital with concerns such as preterm labour, high blood pressure, diabetes management, multiple pregnancies, or for medical or surgical concerns.

For women that can be cared for safely in their home, home care nurses provide regular home visits and phone calls to closely monitor mother's and baby's condition.
