Emergency Shelter at 98 1st Avenue S, Williams Lake

Provides year-round emergency shelter for anyone who is homeless or at risk of homelessness. The shelter is open 24-hours a day and offer meals, laundry and shower facilities, storage for belongings, referral services, advocacy, and help with accessing long-range treatment.

Also includes an overdose prevention site that allows people to inject illicit drugs while monitored by staff equipped with naloxone, which reverses the effects of opioid overdoses. The centre also provides harm reduction supplies and safe needle disposal.
