Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at BC Women's Hospital and Health Centre

Provides medical and surgical care for babies after birth who need special attention. Areas of concern include preterm birth, low birth weight, breathing difficulty, and infection.

Also provides follow-up care for infants and children who are at highest risk of disability or for those where little is known about potential outcomes, as well as neonatal transportation and triage.
