Provides non-emergency patient transfers in Greater Vancouver for medically stable patients who need inter-facility transfers. Transportation is available for medical appointments, patient transfer between hospitals and facilities, and hospital discharge to home or residential facilities.

Program Fee
Low Cost

A subsidized $50 per trip fee may apply for transfers arranged by a Health Authority medical facility for patients with a BC Medical Services Card (CareCard); no cost for patients on income assistance. Transfers from within the community are charged at the regular rate.
