Castlegar Urgent and Primary Care Centre

Provides team-based care for non-emergency health concerns to individuals in the Kootenay Boundary region. Offers same-day care for concerns such as minor injuries, sprains and strains, less serious child illness and injury, infections, and cuts, wounds or skin conditions.

Call your family doctor or nurse practitioner first. This UPCC serves patients without a primary care provider or those with urgent needs who cannot get an appointment with their regular provider. Walk-in not accepted; all appointments are scheduled by telephone. Phone lines open at 8 am each day.

For life-threatening illnesses or injuries call 9-1-1 or go the emergency department to be assessed and treated immediately.
