Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Stabilization Unit
Provides short-term assessment, stabilization and treatment services for children and youth in acute mental health distress. Referrals are made through the emergency department or from another department within the hospital.
Services include safety planning, family and caregiver support, coping skills, treatment plans, and referral to community resources.
