Provides information, assessment and follow-up care for adults who have survived childhood cancer. Appointments are offered in-person in Vancouver, by video conference and by telephone.

The clinic provides ongoing assessment of late effects as well as help with getting the latest information, with physical and emotional health, information about past cancer treatments, and family support.

Provides assessment, preparation, monitoring and education about cancer drug therapy for patients and to BC pharmacy staff that provide oncology medications to cancer patients at the six regional cancer centres in BC. Drugs not provided free at the centre must be purchased at a retail pharmacy.

Pharmacists also provide clinical counselling and drug information services, clinical trials support, and clinical services support. All cancer treatment drugs listed on the BC Cancer Drug Benefit List published online is available.

Provides a population-based screening program operated by the BC Cancer Agency. The goal of the program is to reduce breast cancer deaths by finding cancer at an early stage through routine screening. Operates 36 fixed screening mammography clinics across the province, and three digital mobile mammography coaches that serve rural and remote communities in BC.

Provides cancer assessment and diagnostic services, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, screening, and supportive care at six regional cancer centres in BC. Each centre delivers cancer treatment based on provincial standards and guidelines established by the agency.

Offers free professionally-led online support groups for people affected by cancer, including patients, survivors and family members. Support groups are structured to provide emotional support and a place to safely discuss personal topics.

Offers both cervix self-screening kit and Pap test options to women, Two-Spirit, transgender and gender diverse people to screen for cervical cancer. Online information and resource about cervix health and screening is also available.

Provides information on colon cancer screening by promoting the early detection and prevention of colon cancer; encourages the screening of women and men aged 50 - 74 that are not experiencing symptoms.

There are two screening tests for colon cancer - the fecal immunochemical test (FIT) for average risk individuals, and colonoscopy for individuals at a higher risk of colon cancer.

Provides a province-wide listing of community cancer centres, services and clinics that provide cancer care in communities in BC.

Provides genetic counselling, testing and information for BC residents who may have inherited an increased risk for specific types of cancer. The program helps with understanding the risks of developing cancer, making informed decisions about genetic testing, and options for cancer screening and or risk reduction.

Services are available by phone or video conference to most communities. In-person appointments are currently available in Abbotsford, Surrey, Vancouver and Victoria.

Provides resources, information and links to support Indigenous cancer patients, survivors and their families. Indigenous patient liaisons are also available throughout the province to help with navigating the cancer care system.

Provides a full-service library to help patients, members of the public, and health-care professionals find cancer-related materials and services using a wide variety of printed and electronic resources.

Offers a province-wide screening program for lung cancer in community hospitals for those who are at high-risk for lung cancer and who are not experiencing any symptoms. Lung screening involves a scan of the lungs using a low-dose CT machine.

Provides counselling for patients experiencing eating challenges during cancer treatment, such as decreased appetite, unwanted weight loss, dry mouth, nausea, and bowel changes. Also offers online nutrition information, resources and videos.

Provides pain and symptom management and palliative support for individuals living with cancer. Support includes pain control, emotional and social support, help with care planning and decision making, family support, and help with physical problems related to cancer such as nausea, shortness of breath or fatigue.

Offers support services and individual, couple and family counselling for cancer patients and their families, caregivers and friends. Support is available in-person, by phone or in counsellor-led support groups.

Counsellors specialize in cancer treatment and can help with emotions and concerns such as fear, anxiety, family and relationship problems, depression, work or school concerns, and lifestyle changes.

Provides a nuclear medicine imaging test that uses a form of radioactive sugar to create images of body function and metabolism. The test is used to help evaluate cancer, determine treatment options and monitor effectiveness of treatment.

Provides assessment and therapy to help patients with communication and swallowing difficulties related to cancer or cancer treatments. Areas of concern include swallowing, restricted jaw movement, swelling, and communication such as speech, language and voice.

Provides spiritual care services to patients, their families and all health care staff, of all religious beliefs, and for those without a faith community.

Offers a variety of support groups, education and therapy programs for people with cancer and their supporters. See the website for group descriptions, calendar and registration information.

Groups and seminars are offered throughout the year and may include art therapy, brain tumour support group, family art therapy, Chinese support group, return to work seminar, relaxation and music therapy, mindfulness, and metastatic cancer support.
