BC Family Residence Program

Variety - The Children's Charity of BC
Offers accommodation assistance to enable families to stay together when their child requires medical care at BC Children's Hospital or Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children, including premature babies and newborns with other health concerns.

The program provides assistance to a family for one room up to 30 days per medical visit at convenient locations in the Vancouver and Richmond area.

Provides financial assistance for mobility and communication devices, equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, specialized bicycles, prosthetics, hearing devices and specially equipped vans. This equipment can provide children with increased mobility, independence and freedom. It also allows them improved interaction with family and friends. Grants are available for families and organizations.
