BC Family Residence Program

Offers accommodation assistance to enable families to stay together when their child requires medical care at BC Children's Hospital or Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children, including premature babies and newborns with other health concerns.

The program provides assistance to a family for one room up to 30 days per medical visit at convenient locations in the Vancouver and Richmond area.

Eligibility
Geographically Restricted

Families with a child aged 18 and under, living outside of Metro Vancouver, with a valid Care Card issued by the Medical Services Plan of BC, and who is receiving medical care at BC Children's Hospital or Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children.
