Hospital Intervention Services

Provides the services of an intervenor that helps with the communication of information between deafblind clients, their family and the medical staff in a hospital setting.

Intervenors also provide resources for related issues or services, and are equipped with toys and games, to meet the deafblind individual's needs and ensure that his or her hospital stay is as pleasant as possible under the circumstances.

Apply when hospital dates are known; a coordinator will contact the family to make arrangements.
