Indigenous Health Services

Indigenous Liaison Nurses
Provides health services and supports to Indigenous individuals, families and communities within the Island Health region. Services include health information and referrals, nurse practitioner services, nutrition and food security, diabetes education, and a Healing Room at Royal Jubilee Hospital.

Health liaisons are also available to help with navigating the health care system, and accessing culturally safe health care services in hospital and community settings.
